Lida is a private social space designed for real-life friends who want an easier way to stay connected, even when they live in different cities or follow different schedules.
Create an invitation-only Circle, invite people you already know with a private code, and build a comfortable online lounge for your group. There are no public profiles to browse, no stranger matching, and no random conversations—just familiar people sharing a private space together.
Create a Circle with a custom name and cover, or join an existing Circle using an invitation code. Each Circle supports a small group of up to 10 members, making conversations feel personal, manageable, and relevant.
Circle owners can manage members, update Circle information, reset invitation codes, and remove users when necessary.
Send real-time text messages to everyone in your Circle. Catch up on recent conversations, see who is currently online, and stay involved without needing to schedule a formal call.
Lida keeps group communication simple and focused, without public feeds, follower counts, or unnecessary social pressure.
Every Circle includes a persistent audio Lounge that is always ready when your friends are. There is no meeting to create and no host required.
Enter the Lounge with one tap, see which friends are already there, listen to the conversation, and turn on your microphone when you are ready to speak.
When two members of the same Circle are online, one person can invite the other to a private video call. Video invitations must be clearly accepted before a call begins.
Optional video time is purchased by the caller using Sofa Coins. Charges only apply after the invitation is accepted and the video connection is successfully established. Declined, canceled, expired, or failed calls are not charged.
Lida is built for private, invitation-based groups—not discovery networks.
Lida provides tools to help members maintain a respectful environment. Users can report inappropriate messages, members, Circles, or video sessions. They can also block other members, while Circle owners can remove users who violate group rules.
Text messages are subject to basic safety and spam filtering before they are published.
Sign in securely with Apple, receive a default profile, and personalize your nickname and avatar whenever you choose.
Lida also provides accessible Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, support contact information, blocking controls, and in-app account deletion.
Sofa Coins are optional virtual items purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. They can be used to unlock additional reusable Circle slots or purchase one-to-one video call time.
Sofa Coins cannot be transferred, gifted, exchanged for cash, or used to provide earnings to another member.
